Power Design Application

Engineer / Developer / Contractor / Owner: Once we have received a completed power design application and the requested supporting documents, HL&P will send a design application invoice of $300.00. Once you pay the design invoice fee, your project will be placed in our design queue. A new power design application will need to be submitted for each individual phase of your project.  **Your application will not be considered complete until all documents are submitted. Please submit the following items at the bottom of the application using the “Upload .dwg, Upload .pdf, or Upload .zip” buttons.
  1. Final site plan set, approved by the respective municipality (PDF) – Upload  as either .pdf or zip file
  2. CAD file (.DWG) – Projected: Projected: NAD_1983_2011_StatePlane_Utah_Central_FIPS_4302_Ft_US – Upload as .dwg
    1. The CAD File needs to include the following at a minimum:
  • Streetlights
  • Public Utility Easements  (PUE)
  • Other Easements
  • All utilities
  • Lot lines
  • Sidewalks or Trails
  1. Commercial Buildings: One-line diagram w/load calculations – Upload as .pdf
